When I discovered the truth about the Holy scriptures, I in turn discovered the truth regarding my identity. I can say with complete assurance that I am an Israelite, a decedent of Jacob. I came to that conclusion after viewing the scriptures concerning the curse, which God imposed on the Israelites for their disobedience.

This lesson will shed light on which group of people truly are the Jews of the bible as they are called today. This will be done by examining the signs of the curse that God placed on Israel and finding the group which fits those signs. Because of space constraints I will not be able to list all the signs of the curse. However the ones that will be listed, will clearly show that one group and one group only fits the description of a people cursed by their God. And that group is the Black man who was brought captive to America and abroad and enslaved. Following is a brief look at their true history.

Israel after the rulership of Solomon was split, into two kingdoms. The northern portion which was made up of 10 tribes was called Israel. The tribe of Judah and Benjamin made up the southern kingdom. Members of the southern kingdom were called Judaeans and later that was shorted to the term Jew. The term Jew originally, meant that one was a member of the tribe of Judah which made up the southern kingdom. It did not designate a race of people. Judah was one of the twelve tribes that made up the nation of Israel and thus they were all Israelites.

( I Kings 18:31) And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:

The northern kingdom or Israel had long been dispersed into captivity and only Judah occupied Jerusalem at the time of Jesus' birth.

God had repeatedly warned the nation of Israel, that they would be cursed and go into captivity because of their disobedience.

( Deuteronomy 28:15) But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

Israel did not heed God=s warning and as a result they were cursed.

(Daniel 9:11) Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.

( Deuteronomy 27:26) Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

The following verses show that this curse would last for a long time. Israel is to remain scattered among their captures until the return of the Lord.

(Joel 3:1-2) For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

2) I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Israel was to be removed from their land and placed into captivity by force, in other words they would not be migrating to the different parts of the world.

(Deuteronomy 28:25) The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

And they also as a people would be the tail or on the bottom wherever they were. They would only be in a position to borrow and not to lend.

(Deuteronomy 28:44) He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

The following verse is extremely important in that it helps to identify the mode of transportation used to deliver the Israelites into slavery.

(Deuteronomy 28:68) And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

Lets summarize the signs we have thus far. God said that Israel would be led captive all over the world. That they would be taken by force into slavery and that they will not be migrating to these places. Ships would be used to transport the Israelites into captivity. They would always be on the bottom. They would not be able to lend only borrow. Now that we have a few of the conditions of the curse lets see if these conditions fit the people who now occupy Israel and claim that they are the real Jew.

THE CONDITIONS DO NOT FIT

Allen Greenspan who is Jewish, is in charge of the Federal Reserve which among other things directly lowers or raises interest rates which in turn directly impacts the performance of the stock market. The Federal Reserve is one of the most important and influential institutions in America and its action directly affect the economy.

Consider the following Walt Disney World an amusement center who=s name appropriately denotes its size is a Jewish owned corporation. Spielberg one of the most powerful directors in Hollywood leads the list of Jewish people who dominate this industry. Sears, Goldblatts, Jewel Foods, Montgomery Wards and Flosheim Shoes are just a few of Jewish owned companies. A number of banks are Jewish owned. What does this mean, nothing except that it does not line up with the scriptures.

Here you have a group of people who claim that they are the Jews of the bible which according to scripture are supposed to be on the bottom. Yet they are one of the wealthiest group of people in the world. The city of New York has the one of largest Jewish populations here in America. Now ask yourself, were they brought here by force or did they migrate? They were not ever participates in the institution of slavery. Before proceeding any further I which to emphasize that this is not in anyway, a racial indictment. It is simply to point out the fact that those who claim to be Jews do not fit the conditions that God himself placed on the Israelite people.

Jesus is letting you know in the following verse that something is wrong. (Revelation 3:9) Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie: behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

It is obvious according to the scriptures that the group of people who are claiming to be the real Jew, and who are recognized by almost the entire world as being the Jew of the bible is claiming a falsehood.

The scriptures clearly identifies who the true Israelites are. It is just a matter as to whether or not an individual is willing to search for the truth and then accepting it once he finds it. I stated in the very beginning of this lesson that the only group that fits the condition of being cursed by their God is none other than the Black man who was enslaved here in America and other countries.

Did not God say in (Deuteronomy 28:68 ) that He would bring Israel into Egypt again by ship and that they would not see it again and they would be sold into slavery. Egypt is being used to here because the Israelites spent had over 400 years in bondage to the Egyptians and God is telling them they are going to go back into slavery. America was to become the new Egypt. It is without question that the Black man was victim to the most atrocious, cruelest and vicious form of slavery ever recorded in the history of man. It is not by accident that the Black man could not trace his history any further than the shores of America. Look at the following verse.

(Psalms 83:4) They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation: that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

And that is exactly what happened. We lost all sense of who we were as well as where we came from. A person=s race is generally classified by the geographical location of their forefathers. Example Germans come from Germany, Italians come from Italy and so on. We have carried the label Colored, Negro, Black, Afro American and African American. Where under God=s sun is Colored land or Black land or Negro land. When the powers that be got tried of classifying us as crayons they determined our race according to continents.

We certainly didn't=t originate here in America and just where in African did we come from? We as a people have no knowledge of our origin or our true history. We did not just drop out of the sky.

God is telling us in (Deuteronomy 28:25) that we would be removed into all kingdoms. That is how we ended up here in America. The scriptures state that the Israel as a group would be on the bottom wherever they are. I don=t believe there can be much argument as to which group of people fit that description.

More Blacks reside here in America below the poverty level than any other group of people. Black=s unlike the rest of the population, don=t even own those businesses which operate in their community that provide such basic necessities such as food and gasoline. Blacks have the highest unemployment rate. They are the smallest percentage of the population yet they make up the highest percentage of those who are incarcerated.

Again the situation Blacks as a people find themselves in is by no accident. If they open up their eyes and ears to the scriptures they will come to understand the circumstances that they find surrounding them. The following verses clearly explain the above situation and why it has occurred. In reading them pay close attention to verse 24 and note it is Lord who has brought about the circumstances that the Black man finds himself confronted with. As stated earlier the Lord cursed Israel and is punishing the Black man for his disobedience.

(Isaiah 42:20) Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

21) The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

22) But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

23) Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?

24) Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

Blacks as a people have been killed in unprecedented numbers. They have marched, sat in, boycotted and even rioted just to receive basic human rights. And while the situation has improved Blacks as a whole still remain incarcerated mentally and physically.

While the situation Blacks find themselves in may at times seem unbearable comfort can found in the fact that the same Lord who placed Israel under a curse is the same God who will have compassion and retrieve His chosen people.

(Deuteronomy 30:1) And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

2) And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

3) That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

I believe without question the scriptures show that the Black man who was enslaved in America and in other parts of the world is the Israelite of the bible. This lesson was not a racial indictment or intended to point fingers. The only one Blacks can hold responsible for their situation and the circumstances they find facing them is their forefathers. It was they who refused to obey their God and thus brought about His anger.

(Jeremiah 11:10) They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

11) Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

I urge you to study Deuteronomy chapter 28 for a more thorough look at the descriptions of the curse which God placed on Israel. While it is good for one to know their true heritage coming to the realization that one is physical Israel means nothing if they don=t take the time and effort needed to become spiritual Israel. That is another lesson for another time.

I tend to try and rely on the scriptures to speak and not express my opinion. However, I would be remiss if I did not take this time to express how awesome the power and works of God are. God placed his people in bondage but at the same time told them that he would show mercy and gather them unto him. In his total wisdom and knowledge he knew that Israel would be totally oblivious to their true identity and their special relationship with the true and living God. He realized there would come a time when they would be slowly aroused from their spiritual slumber and would need a way to find out who they were and eventually how to get back to their true God.

The Lord knowing that he could not in trust to those, who had enslaved his people, the task of providing them with the true knowledge of their history and self identity went , one step better. He had their history recorded in a way not it could never be altered. And while Israel remains powerless as a people their story has been documented and told throughout the world. You see the story of the bible is the story of the Black man. What remains to be seen is if Black people will come to that realization and embrace the scriptures and the knowledge they provide. My God is truly an awesome God, and if you take the time, to search the scriptures, and discover the truth that they hold, you will no doubt come to the same conclusion.
